RESTscape Project is a long term effort to define and implement (in Java, PHP,...) a set of common and useful set of web services that follow W3C and REST practices, and a few RESTscape specific conventions.

RESTscape subprojects provide lots of unit services that can be chained together to build powerful applications. It's in the project vision building a GRID that provide (free of charge or paying for intensive usage) RESTscape services.
If your company or organization wants to host some of these services for public/restricted access, please contact with the project team members in order to get listed here as a service provider.
